Synthesis Isolator - Isolator for Synthesis, Filtration and drying

ANFD barrier isolator allows high active product discharge from filter dryers and heel removal for total product recovery. The isolator is directly supported by the filter dryer; installed on a  flange fixed on the discharge hatch.Activities are performed by working through glove ports installed on front window. Product heel is recovered with a special rake scraping the filter dryer filtering surface.Operator and environment protection is assured extracting air from the glove box through an HEPA filter by means of a dedicated suction system.Glove box purging is possible, with increased product protection.Cleaning of the isolator is performed by means of sprayball and washing gun, according to necessities.An interlocked front bar prevents operator access to the gloves when the Filter dryer is not in operating condition.Isolator control may be dedicated or integrated in the Filter dryer control system or integrated in the site DCS.Equipments may be rated for installation in ATEX rated zones 1/21. Pack-o systems may be integrated for final packing for large lots.
Production and handling of HPAPI or toxic products (in gas or powder form) need the total product separation from the environment to protect operators. Negative pressure regime is maintained within the closed volume of the isolator. Turbulent flow is generally adopted.
Operator access to isolator inside via glove ports or half-suit configuration.
Containment levels from 10µg/m3 down to 0,01µg/m3 are available, with different manufacturing solutions and configurations.
