FEVEIN?

Biocon offers a wide range of nephrology which includes fevein. Composition: each 5 ml ampoule contains: ferric hydroxide in complex with sucrose equivalent to elemental iron 100 mg, water for injection ip q. S. Mechanism of action: following intravenous (iv) administration, iron sucrose is dissociated into iron and sucrose and iron is transported as a complex with transferrin to target cells including erythroid precursor cells. The iron in the precursor cells is incorporated into haemoglobin as the cells mature into red blood cells. Indications: it is indicated for the treatment of iron deficiency anaemia in patients with chronic kidney disease (ckd)
