Product Description

Biocon offers a wide range of nephrology which includes erypro. Composition: each 1ml vial of erypro 2000 contains: recombinant human erythropoietin alfa: 2000 iu/ml, each 1ml vial of erypro 4000 contains: recombinant human erythropoietin alfa: 4000 iu/ml, each 1ml vial of erypro 10000 contains: recombinant human erythropoietin alfa: 10000 iu/ml. Mechanism of action: erythropoietin (epo) is a glycoprotein that regulates the production of red blood cells by stimulating the division and differentiation of committed erythroid progenitor cells in the bone marrow. Recombinant human erythropoietin has the same biological activity as native epo. Indications: recombinant human erythropoietin is indicated for the treatment of anaemia associated with chronic renal failure (crf) including patients on dialysis for end-stage renal disease (esrd) and patients not on dialysis
