Biocon offers a wide range of metabolic which includes insugen r refil ?. Composition: soluble/regular insulin ? 3 ml cartridge of 100 iu/ml strength. In use stability: 42 days/6 weeks. Mechanism of action: insulin opens the cell receptors for glucose molecules to enter, which in turn, is utilized in the form of energy (atp) to carry out the various activities by the body. It starts its action 30 mins after injection and attains peak effect, after 2 hrs, remaining in the body for upto 6 - 8 hrs. Indications: in all diabetes patients with: uncontrolled ppg levels and medical emergencies
