I Holland to share its expertise at Pharmaceutical Packaging Innovation Symposium, Croatia

Focus on issues in modern tablet production and how elements including punch and die design, tooling specification and aftercare can affect the end product.

As a part of their 70th anniversary celebrations, I Holland will share their knowledge of tabletting science to those attending Prodieco’s Pharmaceutical Packaging Innovation Symposium, being held in Zagreb, Croatia on 13 October 2016.

Leaders in the pharmaceutical industry will gather to learn and understand the latest innovation in a number of disciplines from tooling to packaging design. I Holland’s Luke Hoskin, Technical Sales Manager, will share I Holland’s decades of research of common tabletting problems and how to overcome a number of issues, Luke explains: “I Holland has 70 years of research and experience into tabletting problems and I will be addressing some of the major issues that pharmaceutical manufacturers come across on a daily basis.

“The presentation will explore the main issues in modern tablet production from ‘sticking’ to ‘picking’, and how elements including punch and die design, tooling specification and aftercare can have an effect on the end product.

“The symposium is an ideal opportunity for I Holland to meet with pharmaceutical manufacturers within the Balkan region looking for answers to their manufacturing tooling needs. We will discuss how through the use of innovative and improved maintenance procedures tablet press downtime will be reduced and the quality of the end product will be maximsed.

I Holland is marking its seven decades of tabletting science knowledge by holding a number of seminars world-wide to communicate why it is important to understand tooling and the science behind it by providing technical knowledge and support to achieve increasing quality and productivity targets.
