CPHI Podcast Series: Investing in a vision for the future of life sciences

In this episode Lucy Chard is joined by Rajiv Khatau to discuss the importance of looking into new therapeutic areas and some of the more niche areas of pharmaceuticals, and investing in the future of the industry.
Rajiv Khatau is a globally renowned Thought Leader in the Life Science sector; specifically on cutting-edge pharmaceuticals, he is a Managing Director of LODAAT LLC and principal of LIFE SCIENCES ADVISORS LLC.
Khatau and his science team are acknowledged as a creative force in regulatory and research for global trends and the life science industry. His firms have established partnerships with government and private organisations in Latin America, South East Asia, Middle East, and Sub Saharan Africa.
Khatau’s firms have been awarded INC 500 status (fastest growing privately held firm) and awarded Best Pharma Exporter by The State of Illinois USA one of the highest accolades from the Governor's Office. In this episode we speak about the importance of looking into new therapeutic areas and some of the more niche areas of pharmaceuticals, discussing innovations and the potential for shaping the future of pharma on a global scale. In particular, and in light of the lead up to the inaugural CPHI Middle East in December 2024, Khatau shares his expertise on the Middle East market and comments on why this region is so well suited to pushing the boundaries and becoming a leader in areas of biotech, genomics, and other public health fields.
