Product Description

Product is indicated for the treatments such as: Septicemia, Infections to a burn or operative wound, subcutaneous abscess, carbuncle, furuncle, furunculosis, osteomyelitis, pyogenic arthritis, tonsillitis (peritonsillitis, peritonsillar abscess), bronchitis, bronchiectasis with Infections, pneumonia, pulmonary suppuration, pyothorax, cholangitis, cholecystitis, peritonitis, mephropyrlitis, cystitis, urethritis, prostatitis, meningitis, intrauterine Infections, pelvic inflammatory disease, parametritis, adenitis, bartholinitis, otitis media and sinusitis. Dosage: (1) For Adult: Administer 0.5 to 2g (titer) of Cefotiam HCl in 2 to 4 times divided doses a day by intravenous injection, (2) For Children: Administer 40 - 80mg (titer) of Cefotiam HCl per kilogram in 3 to 4 times divided dose a day by intravenous injection. The dose for adult’s septicemia can be increased up to 4 gram (titer) a day. The dose for child can be increased up to 160mg (titer)/kg/day with serious or refractory infections, such as septicemia and meningitis. The dosage may be adjusted according to the patient’s age and symptom. Package : 1 g/vial, 10vials/box.
