DEFERIPRONE 500MG FILM TABLET (100 TABS)
HIERO monotherapy is used for the treatment of iron overload in patients with observed thalassemia major where chelation therapy is contraindicated or inadequate. • It is indicated for combined use when a single iron chelator is ineffective or when rapid prevention or treatment of life-threatening conditions, particularly those associated with the heart, necessitates iron reduction. • HIERO is also indicated for the treatment of transfusional iron overload in children aged 8 years and older with sickle cell disease or other anemias, as well as in adults.
