Deferasirox 360 MG FILM COATED TABLET (30 TABLET)

FEBİND-F is indicated for the treatment of chronic iron overload (transfusional hemosiderosis) due to blood transfusions in children aged 6 years and above and in adults. This film-coated tablet should not be preferred in the 2-5 age group; instead, dispersible tablets and parenteral iron chelators should be used in patients where they are available.

FEBİND-F is also indicated for the treatment of chronic iron overload in patients aged 10 years and above with non-transfusion-dependent thalassemia syndromes (alpha-thalassemia intermedia, beta-thalassemia intermedia, and mild to moderate clinically significant combined forms of thalassemia) with a liver iron concentration of ≥ 5 mg/g dry weight or a serum ferritin level of > 800 micrograms/L. The treatment should be discontinued when the liver iron concentration is < 3 mg/g dry weight or the serum ferritin level is < 300 micrograms/L.
