2015 IPEC Europe Excipients Forum
IPEC Europe asbl, the leading voice of the excipients users, distributors and manufacturers in Europe, is organising its annual event on 5 February 2015 in Nice at the prestigious Negresco Hotel, located on the beautiful Promenades des Anglais.
As in prior years there will be an extensive programme of regulatory and scientific presentations, picking up on the pressing issues affecting suppliers and users of pharmaceutical excipients.
The 2015 event will address topics such as the revision of Chapter 5 of the EU Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Guide and the risk assessment guidelines used to determine the appropriate level of GMP for excipients. Presentations will also cover Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and pharmacopeias. The just-finalised Significant Change Guide will be presented. Finally, delegates will hear about some of the opportunities and challenges presented by co-processed excipients and the emerging issue of intentional or accidental alcohol-induced dose dumping (ADD).
For the IPEC Europe members, the Annual General Meeting will take place on the next day in the morning — 6 February; 8:30–13:30.
As usual, the Quality & Regulatory Affairs Committee and the Good Distribution Practices Committee will hold their first meeting of the year the day before the annual event, on 4 February.
