Product Description

Kopran Limited offers a wide range of products which includes salmeterol & fluticasone propionate inhaler, kovent SF. It belongs to respiratory category. Anti-asthmatic agent salmeterol is a new derivative of the group of beta adrenoceptor agonist with selective and prolonged action (about 12 hours); its bronchodilator action is due to long lasting inhibition of the release of mast cell mediators such as histamine, prostaglandin D and leukotrienes. Fluticasone propionate is synthetic trifluorinated corticosteroid with potent anti-inflammatory activity. The combination of these two drugs has synergistic action, anancying effect, in preventing symptoms of asthma and ameliorating respiratory function. Packing: Canister containing at least 120 actuations. Indications: Kovent is used for: reversible obstructive airways disease especially asthma in adults and children from over 12 years includess: Patients on effective maintenance doses of beta agonists and inhaled corticosteroids, patients being symptomatic on current inhaled corticosteroid therapy, patients on regular bronchodilator therapy and inhaled corticosteroid.
