The product acts naturally by inhibiting the growth of fungal diseases, as it reduces the pH of the nails and creates an adverse environment for the development of dermatophytes (fungi responsible for a variety of fungal infections).  Its action, based on the long-term acidification of the microenvironment of the finger nails, is purely topical and targeted and has no pharmaceutical effect against fungi.
