Product Description

Purolite C100MRNS is sodium polystyrene sulphonate, a strong acid cation ion exchange resin powder. This is a pharmaceutical grade product which is used for the treatment of hyperkalemia. In certain cases there can be a build up of potassium in the bloodstream which is not removed by the kidneys. The function of the resin is to reduce and control, where necessary, the potassium levels within the body. Application: sodium polystyrene sulfonate. Polymer structure: crosslinked gel polystyrene. Appearance: odorless buff powder. Functional group: sulfonic acid.
