The product is effective against gram -positive and gram-negative microorganisms, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenza, Staphylococci sp., Streptococcus pyogenes, E. coli., Proteus mirabilis, Klebsiella sp., Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Otitis media, pneumonia, laryngopharyngitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis, pyelonephritis, cystitis, gonococcal urethritis, furuncle, carbuncle, folliculitis, cellulites, infectious atheroma, subcutaneous abscess, felon, wound infection. Dosage: Cefaclor capsule is administered orally (1) For Adults: The usual adult dosage is 250mg every 8 hours. For more severe infections (such as pneumonia) or those caused by less susceptible organisms, dose may be doubled, (2) For Children: The usual recommended daily dosage for children is 20 mg/kg/day administered in divided doses every 8 hours. In more severe infections, otitis media, and infections caused by less susceptible organisms, 40mg/kg/day are recommended with a maximum dosage of 1.5g/day. Cefaclor capsule may be administered in the presence of impaired renal function. Under such as a condition, the dosage usually is unchanged. In the treatment of hemolytic streptococcal infections, a therapeutic dosage of cefaclor should be administered for at least 10 days; Package: 10 x 1Bl, 10 x 10Bl.
