INTRODUCTION:

·       Beeswax is a 100 % natural wax produced in the bee hive of honey bees of the genus Apis. It is mainly esters of fatty acids and various long chain alcohols. Our cosmetic / pharmaceutical grade Beeswax is pale yellow, smooth, highly refined wax with emollient, soothing and softening properties.

·       Being a natural product, the quality of our refined beeswax is highly moderated by us to comply with international regulatory requirements.
 

TYPICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

·       Pale – yellow to Amber coloured waxy solid
·       Insoluble in water
·       Soluble in fatty and essential oils
·       Retains characteristics and natural odour
·       High binding strength and plasticity
 

APPLICATIONS:

·       Beeswax finds varied applications in the pharmaceutical industry (excipient) viz. ointments, balms, soft-gel, creams etc.
·       It is also used for tablet coatings in the pharmaceutical industry
·       Cosmetic industry applications include cold creams, lotions, lip jellies, pomades, lipsticks etc.
·       Extraordinarily emollient, safe for soothing and softening, Beeswax helps the skin retain moisture.
·       Extremely effective on small areas, forming a protective barrier especially on dry skin areas.
·       Also used in hair-care and hair-food formulations, foot care, ayurvedic and herbal care products, pharmaceutical sutures, car-care cleaning products and FMCG products
