CLOTIDE?

Biocon offers a wide range of metabolic which includes clotide. Composition: eptifibatide 10 ml & 100 ml infusion. Mechanism of action: eptifibatide is an antiplatelet agent which competitively inhibits platelet aggregation by blocking the gpiib/iiia receptors. Gpiib/iiia receptors binds with fibrinogen and results in cross-linking between platelets and is the final common pathway of platelet aggregation, which ultimately leads to thrombus formation. Indications: for the adjunctive treatment of patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (pci), including those undergoing coronary stenting, to prevent cardiac ischemic complications and for the treatment of patients with acute coronary syndrome (unstable angina or non st-elevation myocardial infarction), including patients who are to be managed medically
