VialArch

VialArch
Product Description

The Gasporox sensor module VialArch offers non-destructive Headspace Gas Analysis to be integrated directly onto the production line or into an inspection machine.

This unique laser-based solution is installed on the production line for 100% quality inspection and container closure integrity testing. The VialArch has automatic triggering and only the container diameter and belt speed is set by the operator in the user software. The laser beam is passing the headspace of the moving vials to perform laser-based headspace analysis (HSA), non-destructive and with precise measurements of the residual oxygen in the headspace.

This is applied to numerous inspection functions that relates to container closure integrity testing (CCIT) and also process control. It measures non-destructievly the oxygen gas concentrations in containers and parenteral packaging such as vials, ampoules and can also be applied to other package formats.

Applications for the VialArch: The VialArch is designed for inspection of pharmaceutical containers such as vials. It is used for container closure integrity testing where oxygen sensitive products are inspected. The VialArch can for example be used for detecting residual oxygen in liquid vials or leak detection of lyophilized vials and in other applications where oxygen levels is a key parameter.

The VialArch can measure:

  • Residual oxygen
  • Air ingress measurements

  • Brochure GPX Porosity – System for Porosity Analysis of Pharmaceuticals

Material porosity is a relevant parameter in many production process with dry compounds. Actual porosity measurement technologies are using destructive methods. Several disadvantages are connected with the determination of the porosity. They require a lab to do additional steps like sample weighing, have a long measurement time, take a long time to be performed, are costly, are material dependent, have limited accuracy, can require handling of poisonous liquids etc.
Gasporox is highly specialize in the development and application of optical spectroscopy. The combination of GASMAS (GAs in Scattering Media Absorption Spectroscopy) and TOF (Time Of Flight) sensors allows measuring the optical porosity of ribbons produced by a roller compactor in the process of the tablet production. The non-destructive at line instrument is fast, accurate and easy to use. No special sample preparation is required. No lab with additional instruments needs to be available and the measuremen...
