Tereos: new partner for glucose monohydrate APIs

The Tereos group will exhibit at the CPHI Worldwide exhibition, on stand D30 located in Hall 10.2.

Tereos is happy to announce that its Zaragoza factory (Spain) starts delivering its Glucose monohydrate Meridex® and Meridex® Pyrogen Free as Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients. The CEP* certificate has been obtained in February 2017, 2 years after the plant was GMP-certified. This plant was specifically designed for Glucose monohydrate in September 2011 and uses the most modern technologies known to the field.

Tereos has been a leading supplier of pharmaceutical excipients for more than 20 years. This new step illustrates the company’s constant commitment to growing its activities and strengthening its positions within the pharmaceutical market.

To support this strategic deployment, Tereos creates a dedicated Life Science & Nutrition business group, which combines sales, marketing, quality, regulatory & innovation skills, while bringing together the sugar and starch activities. This specialty group includes pharmaceutical, infant nutrition and clinical nutrition activities.
