The BOX-EXT (extended carton erector) is the first system with a small footprint, that folds and glues various sizes of plain cardboard into top-loaded boxes, combined with an automatic carton inlay / insert folding and gluing into the carton box. This system is adjustable and succeeds perfectly at processing a high mix and low volume of boxes and inlays / inserts. Handling of low quantities and various shapes and sizes is a trend in medical and pharmaceutical industry.

A lean automation platform to customize for different processes. GTE made machines on this platform for folding and gluing boxes, assembling syringes and sealing blisters.The platform has a small footprint and can handle low and medium production numbers.

GTE also adds automations to existing machines. For example, we added two stations to a customer’s NX-B sealer from Nelipak. These are: 1. An automatic sheet dispenser for placing lids Including product check Including check of the placed lid 2. Cobot that automatically unloads blisters These additions allow the machine to be operated by one operator only.

For a customer in the medical industry, we designed and built a blister packaging and sealing machine, based on our LAP-C platform. Of course, the customers process and wishes were incorporated into the design. The LAP-C consists of six stations, with an extremely precise turntable moving the molds. Each station allows for a quadruple mold to be filled and processed simultaneously.

The Casepacker packs secondary packaging with medical products into export boxes. The machine stacks the secondary packaging, forms the desired layer and then slides it into the export box. The export box is automatically separated and unfolded in advance.

GTE developed a machine for closing a box with on one side a seal end and on the other end a tuck and seal end. The box is filled by an operator but the machine glues and closes the box on a validated way.

GTE-engineering developed a machine for perforating and punching lids from rolls tyvek, aluminum, medical paper or other lid materials. The machine can be adjusted to punch various sizes and rolls of labels and lids and optionally perforate them. From the roll-off unit the roll goes to the perforating unit. Sensors determine the perforation location. Subsequently, the lids are punched and collected. This machine is extremely suitable for high mix low volume production

The machine is intended to pack medical products into blisters and seal them. The machine places the tray automatically in the molds from the magazine with automatic destacking hopper. The products can be automatically or manually loaded. Subsequently, the content is controlled by vision control. After this, the lidding is automatically applied. The lidding foil gets heat-sealed. Hereby, the force, the time, and the temperature is computer controlled.
