STERIFILL: Ampoule filling and closing machine
Considered as market leader in aseptic processing, IMA Life designed STERIFILL, a linear filling and sealing machine handling both opened and closed ampoules. Filled with a measured quantity of liquid, ampoules are considered ready-to-inject solutions with one more advantage: being 100% tamper proof.

The Sterifill series includes four models to satisfy different output requirements. Each model can be also supplied in the Sterifill Combi version to process ampoules and vials by changing the machine configuration.

The dosing system can be fitted with piston or peristaltic pumps dispensing the filling volume according to the recipes. The nozzles fill the ampoules while they are gently moved by means of a comb which hold them from the body to avoid any breakage. Upon request, the machine can also mount a nitrogen gas purging system to prevent the contamination of delicate products before, during and after the filling, and during the sealing.

Flexible and versatile, Sterifill boasts a “no-ampoule – no fill” systems and a full brushless technology to adjust nozzle carrier and gripper heights, individual pumps as well as the movements of the filling nozzles and the infeed scroll motion.

The machine can be equipped with CIP/SIP systems allowing programmable automatic cycles with no need to remove machine components and is suitable for integration with LAF hoods systems, RABS or isolator enclosures.

Available as a stand-alone unit or integrated in complete processing lines, Sterifill can also be installed through the wall.
