SON SAS is betting on the enormous potential of high-quality nanoparticles for the future!

In this article, La Gazette du Laboratoire, a leading French journal, presents our company and the potential opened up by nanomaterials.

"Founded in 2020, this DeepTech startup emerged from the University of Burgundy and leverages years of research in chemistry, merging nanoparticles and organic chemistry. With its catalog of innovative products and custom services, it aims to make a name for itself in its specialty. Experiencing constant growth, it will be moving to new premises this summer and plans to raise funds by the end of the year.

Nanomaterials are particles with at least one of their three dimensions between 1 and 100 nanometers. To put it in perspective, imagine the thickness of a hair divided by 100,000! Nanoparticles are ubiquitous in our environment, circulating notably in the air and water. Even though the size of nanoparticles is very small, their surface area is relatively large compared to their volume, allowing for rapid diffusion of heat, molecules, and ions. They are used in a wide range of applications, such as nanomedicine, electronics, fine chemistry, cosmetics, medical imaging, and printing." (...)
