Indications.
The presence of normal nasal and nasopharyngealsaprophytic flora is crucial for the health of theupper airways and the human body. Changes in thesaprophytic flora can, in fact, lead to the developmentof important diseases in this area, such as recurrentotitis, rhino-sinusitis, adenoiditis and predisposefor the development of complications in the lowerairways. Various environmental, physical or chemicalfactors can affect the composition of this delicatemicrobial ecosystem. Rinogermina is a medicaldevice with mechanical action, intended to restore thenatural biological barrier composed of autochthonoussaprophytes and reduce the surface tension of the nasalmucus.Rinogermina is indicated:

• In the treatment and prevention of rhinopharyngotubalinfections such as otitis, adenoiditis,rhino-sinusitis.
• After topical nasal and/or systemic antibiotictreatment, to facilitate the recovery of the normalnasopharyngeal saprophytic flora.
• In all cases in which it is appropriate to facilitate therecovery of the normal nasal and nasopharyngealsaprophytic flora (topical nasal treatments, allergicrhinitis, asthma, chronic bronchitis, chronic damagefrom the inhalation of smoke or irritating substances,etc.).
