The global market for single-use bioreactor technology for pharmaceuticals is likely to grow between 2012 and 2022, a new report claims.

London-based business information provider Visiongain observed that single-use bioprocess technologies have supported the development and production of biopharmaceuticals over the past decade.

They are particularly useful in the early stages of drug development and upstream processing, as well as in the commercial production of biomolecules.

Visiongain's latest report, entitled 'Single-Use Bioreactors for Pharma: World Market 2012-2022', claims that the industry's use of these disposable bioreactor technologies will increase over the next ten years.
