Recipharm expands its analytical services offering in India
The CDMO inaugurates its new analytical laboratory under Recipharm Analytical Solutions
To keep pace with rising demand for its Analytical Solutions, CDMO Recipharm has completed the construction and installation of a new analytical laboratory at its Bengaluru, India facility.
Despite the challenges thrown up by the coronavirus pandemic, the company said it has managed to complete the project and ensure the laboratory was up and running by the scheduled time of 1 August, 2021.
The 370 m2 fully cGMP-compliant area is equipped to support the company's independent Recipharm Analytical Solutions.
Launched in November 2019, Recipharm Analytical Solutions provides customers with outsourced help for quality control and analytical services from concept through to commercial.
According to Ramesh Jagadeesan, the company's Assistant Vice President, the new laboratory will accommodate 40 scientists and bolster Recipharm's ability to support customers' method development, method validation and stability program design and implementation. It will also strengthen the team's capacity to take on additional customer projects.
To lead the new laboratory, Recipharm has appointed Manivel Thangapragasam as Associate Director.
