Phyllon produces the OSeeT, a PAT instrument to create cross section images of film layers in tablets, pellets, patches, capsules. It allows the measurement of the thickness of the layer, the roughness and the homogeneity in transparent and semi-transparent films.
It is very simple to use, it does not require any chemometric calibration and gives results in real-time.
OSeeT can be used in-line in pan coaters and fluid beds but also at-line with Sampling Devices. It is a powerful tool for research and development, for quality in production and for real-time release in continuous manufacturing
