Only Celebrex is Celebrex: Signed by Pfizer

The old adage has always made us question what's in a name, but Pfizer Canada wants Canadians to think about: what's in a signature? This week, Pfizer Canada is launching a new advertising campaign in support of one of its medications, Celebrex. The Signed by Pfizer campaign focuses on the value of a signature, as a commitment to quality and a symbol of pride in craftsmanship.

"One's signature is a sign of approval; it's a binding contract of authenticity and dependability," says Allen Van der Wee, General Manager, Global Established Pharma Business Unit, Pfizer Canada. "Pfizer is committed to this quality in Celebrex and all its products."

The name Pfizer is now printed on all Celebrex capsules in Canada. This signifies a promise of authenticity, dependability, predictability and quality; the product has been tested and manufactured to the highest of standards.

The ad campaign includes both 30 and 15 second television ads and online ads, featuring a bicycle maker and a fashion designer — two professionals who put much work and attention to detail into their creations before signing their name on the finished product. The analogy illustrates the pride and high standards that Pfizer puts behind its products, and the value of the 'Pfizer' signature.
