MoNo and Sigmapharm - Quality and Tradition made in Austria

We are an independent Austrian pharma company with decades of experience in development, production and sales of pharmaceutical products.

In 1949 Prof. Dr. Herbert Pichler and Dr. Herbert Punzengruber founded the company “Sigmapharm” in the heart of Vienna, Austria. In 1999 the independent production spin-off “MoNo chem-pharm Produkte GmbH” was endowed.

Together the two sister companies MoNo and Sigmapharm unite comprehensive service and state-of-the-art manufacturing. Our core competence are sterile and non-sterile liquid products for Ear-Nose-Throat applications and eye drops.

In our new production site, located in the outskirts of Vienna in Hornstein, we offer customized solutions in the aseptic filling of not only standard batch sizes (up to 1.000 l), but also small batch sizes in production and packaging.

We offer highly flexible solutions regarding the packaging and filling in a wide range of containers and closure systems. In addition, all packages can be serialized according to the EU-Anti Counterfeiting Directive and closed with tamper evident seals.

At our own quality control laboratory, all products are tested and analyzed for market release. This control is an integral part of our quality management, designed to optimize process and product quality.

Our Regulatory Affairs department offers support to ensure compliance of your medicinal products and medical devices during their complete life cycle.
