Biocon offers a wide range of comprehensive care which includes micelum ndd. Composition: combipack of micelum ndd, includes 1 vial of micelum ndd containing 500mg of imipenem and 500mg of cilastatin, 100ml of 0.9% nacl sodium chloride intravenous infusion, iv set and connector. Mechanism of action: the bactericidal activity of imipenem is from inhibition of bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin binding protein (pbp?s) resulting in bacterial cell lysis. Indications: lower respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, intra-abdominal infections, gyneacologic infections, bacterial septicemia
