Lithium carbonate is Li2CO3. Lithium Carbonate is used to both treat and prevent mania: a mental illness characterised by abnormal excitability and instability, depression: a mental illness characterised by feelings of severe sadness and unworthiness, manic depression: a mental illness which alternates between attacks of mania and depression. Presentation of Lithium carbonate in 250mg capsule: Size one capsule having a green cap and clear body filled with a white powder. Lithium carbonate provides a source of lithium ions that may act by competing with sodium ions at various sites in the body. Package Quantities: Packs of 100 cap.
