Product Description

INDOMETHACIN DS 10% ointment belongs to the group of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for topical application. It has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects due to inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis. It suppresses platelet aggregation. It helps to relieve the pain, particularly joint pain at rest and in motion , reduce morning stiffness and swelling of the joints, and increase the range of movement. What is INDOMETHACIN DS 10% ointment used for? To relieve pain associated with: joint syndrome (rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankilosing spondylitis, gout);traumatic inflammation of the soft tissues and the locomotor system; rheumatism;diffuse diseases of connective tissue; neuralgia; myalgias. Active substance: indomethacin.1 g ointment contains 100,0 mg indomethacin as active substance.
