Ibuprofen

Borshchahivskiy cpp (bcpp) offers a wide range of medicinal products which includes ibuprofen. Active ingredients: it is a propionic acid derivative non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent that inhibits prostaglandin synthesis. It has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and moderate antipyretic action. The mechanism of action of ibuprofen is non-selective inhibition of two isoforms of cyclooxygenase, “cox-1” and “cox-2”. Cyclooxygenase is an enzyme that converts arachidonic acid to prostaglandin h2. Prostaglandin h2 in turn, is converted by other enzymes to several other prostaglandins, which are mediators of pain, inflammation, and fever. The analgesic action of ibuprofen is due to both the peripheral mechanism (indirect, through the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis) and the central mechanism (inhibition of the prostaglandin synthesis in central nervous system). Ibuprofen reversibly inhibits platelet aggregation. Indications: it is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of headache, toothache, migraine, dysmenorrhoea, neuralgia, backache, pain in joints and muscles, rheumatic pains, and febrile state, and signs of cold and flu.
