I Holland celebrates 70 years of tabletting excellence with technical seminars
The seminars discuss tablet design, tool material selection, tool features and configuration, tooling maintenance and lifecycle management.
Experts in tabletting science I Holland, is this year celebrating its 70th anniversary. To mark seven decades of providing the highest quality tooling and technical support service to customers, the tabletting science experts have shared their extensive tooling excellence knowledge and experience with tablet manufacturers through a new series of global seminars in 2016.
The seminars discuss a range of tabletting excellence considerations including tablet design and tool material selection, tool features and configuration and tooling maintenance and lifecycle management. I Holland held their first seminar in Nottingham, UK, earlier this year. The 2-day seminar, entitled ‘Troubleshooting in Tablet Tooling’ saw prospective and existing customers visit the tabletting expert’s UK manufacturing facility to identify and address common problems that occur during modern tablet production. Using their 70 years of skill and expertise, I Holland discussed the elements of punch and die design, tooling specification and aftercare that are required to improve maintenance procedures, decrease tablet press downtime and maximise the quality of tooling production. Following an introductory welcome dinner, the seminar included various sessions, workshops, Q&A's and a factory tour.
I Holland continued their technical seminar tour in Mexico to demonstrate how efficiency in solid dose manufacturing can be improved at the earliest stages of the tablet design process using precise tooling specifications. I Holland’s Sales and Marketing Director, Javier Raposo hosted the prestigious one-day well-attended event, which detailed how tablet manufacturers can save time and resources during production by removing downstream tabletting problems for the tablet producer.
“Our international seminars are an effective and interactive platform to share I Holland’s 70 years of experience and expertise in the production process within tablet manufacturing. Over the summer, our seminars have enabled us to meet with our prospective and existing customers to showcase the innovative solutions and trends in tabletting science,” says Javier Raposo, Sales and Marketing Director, I Holland.
I Holland continues its world tour with a seminar in both the UK and Russia during November. The next ‘Troubleshooting in Tablet Tooling’ seminar will take place in Nottingham on 10-11 November 2016, with a further seminar to be held during Pharmtech Moscow from 22-25 November. I Holland’s experts will discuss how tooling problems can be rectified with the use of the correct steel and coating technology. The presentation will also investigate how through planned maintenance the maximum life from tablet tooling will be achieved.
