Human Relaxin-2

Human Relaxin-2
Product Description

Relaxin is a protein hormone of about 6000 Da first described in 1926 by Frederick Hisaw. The relaxin-like peptide family belongs in the insulin superfamily. This gene encodes multiple protein isoforms, at least one of which undergoes proteolytic processing. This processing generates relaxin A and B chains that are linked by disulfide bonds to form the mature peptide hormone. This hormone plays a role in the male and female reproductive systems and was initially noted for its role in pregnancy.

    Product Chlorotoxin

Chlorotoxin is a 36-amino acid peptide found in the venom of the deathstalker scorpion (Leiurus quinquestriatus) which blocks small-conductance chloride channels. The fact that chlorotoxin binds preferentially to glioma cells has allowed the development of new methods for the treatment and diagnosis of sev...

Human EGF (hEGF) is consisting of 54 amino acids, is an identical molecule to β-urogastrone, a molecule isolated on the basis of its ability to inhibit gastric acid secretion. EGF is structurally homologous to human transforming growth factor-α, and both exert their actions through EGF receptors. This prod...
