Gre-enereductase®

The Gre-enereductase® enzyme assay kit consists of 30 engineered ene-reductase enzymes and demonstrates activity exceeding 90% against the designated substrates. These enzymes may serve as a promising foundation for subsequent engineering efforts aimed at enhancing their activity and can be a good starting point for further engineering to improve activity, organic solvent tolerance, broad pH tolerance, thermostability, and other desirable traits. Several variants have undergone pilot-scale testing, exhibiting greater than 95% activity at substrate concentrations of 50-100 g/L, temperatures exceeding 40°C, and pH values exceeding 9.0, and showing tolerance towards solvent mixture exceeding 20% (w/v) IPA and 40% (w/v) DMSO
