Epiritu is an anti-cancer ("antineoplastic" or "cytotoxic") chemotherapy drug.  This medication is classified as an "anthracyline antitumor antibiotic. Epiritu is used to treat breast cancer.  It is used as adjuvant therapy in women who have had surgery and have lymph node involvement.May be used in place of doxorubicin in some circumstances.
