Dow to increase capacity for solid CARBOWAX SENTRY polyethylene glycols
Dow, a leading supplier of polyethylene glycols (PEGs), has announced a low-capital, high-ROIC investment in a new congealer to increase its production capacity for CARBOWAX SENTRY polyethylene glycols in solid powder and granular form.
This new unit located in Taft, Louisiana, will double Dow’s global production capacity for CARBOWAX SENTRY polyethylene glycols.
The new congealer will replicate Dow's current technology, minimizing requalification work while enhancing security of supply for existing customers, with a target unit start-up by the end of 2020.
