Product Description

DRICARD® is a unique flat moisture absorber comprised of calcium chloride desiccant laminated in paper fibers between film layers. Like desiccant packets, DRICARD is designed to support a dry package environment to keep nutraceuticals, foods and diagnostics safe from the damaging effects of moisture.The DRICARD desiccant’s flat profile is designed for use in applications that require desiccation in small and narrow packaging spaces or where it is essential to minimize confusion with the end-product.
DRICARD® is available in a variety of standard sizes and the size can be customized.

    DRICARD® is a paper based desiccant plate which can adsorb more than 75% of its weight in moisture at 25°C.The rigid structure of the DRICARD® allows high speed automatic insertion by card dispensers or pick-and-place systems.
    DRICARD® is applicable in primary packaging, as example for powder products to prevent from clumping (proteins, vitamins powdered sports nutrition), in carton box dispenser for tablets, gums, and ideal for secondary packaging to extend the shelf-life of blister as example.
    DRICARD® is compliant with US FDA regulation for use in nutraceutical, diagnostic and food applications.
    DRICARD® helps saving space inside packaging and is considered as more sustainable than standard desiccant products according it is based on more than 90% of paper.
