Digital marketing is a valuable tool for many industries, and the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry is no exception. The CPHI Podcast Series covers how marketing can be used by companies to increase their engagement and overcome challenges.
Digital Editor Lucy Chard is joined by Raman Sehgal, Founder of Ramarketing, talking about the use of marketing in sustainability, talent acquisition, and partnering.
Having founded several niche companies, Raman has grown ramarketing (headquartered in the UK’s North East with a presence in Boston, MA) beyond what he ever could have imagined. A multi-million dollar, PE-backed, specialist marketing agency in the life science space across the world to raise their profile and grow.
Raman is the co-founder of Lead Candidate, a specialist talent acquisition partner for the pharma and biotech outsourcing space, and a fellow podcaster, hosting industry-leading pharmaceutical podcast - Molecule to Market where he takes listeners inside the outsourcing space of the drug development and manufacturing ecosystem.
Outside of work, Raman is family-oriented. He is a happily married father of three boisterous boys. An active and sociable guy, Raman is a keen runner and a die-hard Newcastle United football fan.
Keen to share his knowledge, mistakes, and learnings in an honest manner, Raman is focused on helping others and is an active member of the business community. One of his favorite mottos is “sharing is caring, right?”, which is reflected in the impact that his work has on other businesses and individuals alike.
In this podcast the different ways marketing can help companies in achieving their goals are discussed, whether it’s in how to go about finding the right partner, creating the right messaging around a companies’ ESG values, or how to attract talent. We also go on to talk about the future of digital marketing, especially the increased use of AI in today’s world, how much this has changed everyday practices already, and how important marketing is for accelerating innovation in the industry today.
