BMS & Tsinghua University Announce New Strategic Partnership
A new collaboration has been announced between Bristol-Myers Squibb and China's Tsinghua University.
Bristol-Myers Squibb and Tsinghua University have entered into a new strategic partnership that will be in effect for a number of years.
The global biopharmaceutical company will fund research at the university's School of Life Sciences in a bid to discover new targets in the fields of oncology and immunoscience.
Researchers at the university will also attempt to map the 3D protein structure of various molecular targets that could be used in future drug discovery projects.
The partnership represents Bristol-Myers Squibb's first such collaboration in China, according to Dr Francis Cuss, the company's senior vice-president of research.
