Benzalkonium Chloride (BKC/BZK/BAK/BAC) is a powerful antimicrobial surfactant and is commonly used as an excipient in ophthalmic and nasal spray formulations, or as an API in wound disinfection, various oral and topical antiseptic formulations, and medical devices.
