BASF shows off its portfolio of excipients
A range of excipients developed by BASF will be on show in Chicago next week.
BASF will feature a wide range of its pharmaceutical ingredients at an event in the US later this month, including its excipients.
The company will be presenting its portfolio and accompanying services at the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists' annual meeting, which takes place from October 14th to 18th at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago.
At the BASF booth, visitors will be able to learn more about its Kollicoat coatings platform which includes a range of polymers, protective/taste masking and coloured coatings for sustained and enteric coatings.
Other products on show during the week include Kollicoat Smartseal, which is developed to ensure quick release of active ingredients in the stomach, and Ludiflash, a co-processed excipient designed to achieve quick disintegration.
Throughout the week, other excipients including Kollidon 12 and 17 PF crystal modifiers and Kolliphor liquir fill and solubilisers will also be displayed, alongside its range of lubricants such as high-purity polyethylene glycols.
